About the Founder of Foot Wellness Academy
Hello! My name is Amberlyn Roush. I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Additionally, I am certified as a foot care specialist. I teach professionals how to build their own mobile foot wellness business. I have been a patient advocate for over 10 years. I first noticed a great need for foot care in the elderly when I worked at a wound center for 6 years. A lot of those issues could have been prevented if their feet were seen and cared for on a consistent basis. I began to get calls from all over the country for foot care needs because no one in their community came to the home. Most of those people were home-bound or struggled to leave house. The needs in other communities prompted me to engage and train other health care professionals to help take on the patient load to care for their foot care needs in their communities. Nail care and foot care is considered ADL's (activity of daily living) everybody needs consistent foot care, but many people are not trained on how to safely care for the nails and feet. I want to help you make that difference in your family and community by providing the proper, safe foot care for them! As a mother of 4, I appreciate the flexibility and being able to prioritize my family above my career. The fulfillment of caring for patients one-on-one and providing quality care is what won me over. This business is humbling and provides you with a sense of purpose by making a true impact in your patients’ lives and community!

Do we go through the course alone? What if we have questions?
No, you will not be going through Foot Wellness Academy training alone. You will be receiving LIVE weekly coaching with me until FWA ends.
When does this course start?
Enrollment/Registration opens up on September the 19th, 2022 at 2 PM EST.
This 6-week ONLINE course will begin on August 19th 2022 at 9 AM EST. These trainings will be released on the same day and will be released WEEKLY to prevent lessons being skipped. 1-2 module per week.
If I miss this registration when is the next one?
Trainings are not scheduled in advance.
I only launch a training when I know that I can dedicate 6-weeks straight to my students. Once the class is full, you will know by clicking on the payment link. A message will appear letting you know that registration has closed
Do I have to show up at a specific time for class?
No, you do not have to log in to your training at a specific time each day. However, I would recommend you to dedicate at least 3-5 hours per week to this training (less than a part-time job). Modules are automatically released every Monday at 8 am. You will receive an email notification letting you know that you may log in and access the current week's module.
Who can take this course?
This course is for RNs, LPNs and medical nail technicians. Look at your scope of practice in your state to see if this is an option for you. Many times routine foot care falls under a grey area, but hopefully soon the board will notice how important our job is and will address it! :)
Do I need to be certified?
There are many healthcare professionals who start foot care businesses without any credentialing. A certificate serves as proof that a student successfully finished a course of study. An earned credential that shows the holder's particular knowledge, skills, and experience is referred to as a certification. Before selecting whether certification is the appropriate choice for them, one must assess the expenses, advantages, and overall objective of the certification.
Will I get a certificate or certification if I take this course?
YES! of course, you will receive a certificate that you took your training from Foot Wellness Academy :)

What if I am unhappy with the course?
Since this is a knowledge-based course and knowledge cannot be reversed once learned, this course is NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions.
